Chemical Characteristics
Orange Solv is classified as a non flammable. Diluted with equal parts water the pH is 9 which is considered mildly alkaline. When tested in accordance with AS3733, test method (carpet) this product complies.
Directions For Use Hard Surfaces
Most applications require only a wipe on, spray water rinse only or may require surface agitation prior to rinsing.
Non atomising spray the surface to be cleaned, allow a few minutes to activate, then pressure rinse with water. Agitation is only required in the severest soilage.
Carpet Applications
Carpets need only a light wipe but must be wet towelled or water extraction rinsed to remove residue. Heavy grease stains may require working" with your fingers to allow penetration. Where heavy applications are used, double rinse with hot water. Feather stains to reduce the spot effect.
NOTE: Most carpet stains re-occur because of poor rinsing so pay attention to this fact.
TESTING: Always test ORANGE SOLV on an inconspicuous area of dry carpet (say behind a door) and rinse using a white towel to check for colour transfer or bleeding. Dilute ORANGE SOLV with equal parts water and test again if bleeding occurs.
